I'm surprised you didn't use Coup de Grace on him once you got him down to 2k hp. Would have sped up the end.

 

its just a copper spear with a different appearance. it is complete garbage.

i would have if i used blades.

Nice job. This is the way to do it with the current combat mechanics.

However, this is exactly why we need collision turned on in some way for PVE. Running through the opponent to take advantage of the slow turning is perfectly legit, but oh so silly in my opinion. Of course, the "molasses collision sphere" is not the way to go either, so if Unity has nothing better then I guess we are stuck. @Chris

Maybe if the AI started using the same tactics and running backwards through us to make the shots hit? Who would cry foul then? <--- just hypothetically smirking.

i wish i could argue differently. we just have to be patient. @Chris is a busy dude...he will get around to it when he can.

it wouldnt matter. it is jsut as easy to strafe around him in a wide circle. i demonstrated that several times in the video just in case someone said this.

also, mob archers and mages run thru me, to go behind, ALL the time. im assuming others as well

 

Strafing is very cool. Again, do not take me wrong, it was very well done. I am sure not ready to do this.
I'm just hoping some of the combat mechanics get fine tuned. 'Parts' of this video show what I mean.
