Details: When speaking to Edwin in Soltown you can receive his quest Gather 12 pieces of cotton. After completing that task, he then gives the task Create 6 Spools of Cotton Thread. Making 6 Spools of Cotton Thread requires 24 raw cotton to make. But the player was told to only gather 12.

Suggestion: The task Gather 12 pieces of cotton needs to be changed to Gather 24 pieces of cotton. The player then can do the next step, and Create 6 Spools of Cotton Thread.

Steps to Reproduce: Get the Gather 12 pieces of cotton task from Edwin. Collect 12 raw cotton and then return to him. He will then task you with the next step, Create 6 Spools of Cotton Thread. But the player only has enough cotton to make 3 spools of cotton thread.

I only have 12 cotton. I can only make 3 Spools of Cotton Thread. I cannot make 6.

 

I found this problem, however, I did 2x Spool of Cotton using 8x Raw Cotton and 4x Wax and did 2x Spool of Cotton Thread from Scraps using 4x Wax, 24x Fabric Scrap, and 2x Raw Cotton. That allowed me to continue with the training.
Maybe it is a typo in "6" Spool of Cotton Thread and you only need "3".
