Solution to Silver and Gold scraps

Hey guys!

We currently have recipes for gold and silver to be smelted with scraps. But, we have no way to obtain the scraps.


I propose this solution:

We now have "junk items" that drop in game which have enchantments on them. Let's give those items some actual value by making them give gold and silver scraps when salvaged.

Additionally, when anything with a masterwork or enchantment is salvaged, have it give a small amount of silver and/or gold scraps.

If enchanted, you get some gold scraps PER enchantment.

If masterworked, you get silver scraps PER masterwork.

Easy peasy.

Note: This will not break the economy. Make the amount of scraps returned range based upon the level of your salvage skill. Obviously, higher skill = more scraps. But, keep the numbers low.

 

Or they could just take them out. A few months from now it will be like it never happened.

 

That's not what my wishlist request is. I prefer my request.

 

Really? I haven't seen those recipes since before persistence.

[edit] Ha, I just found them on the blacksmith in Elad's Lighthouse and they're re-teachable, which means that they would be discoverable if we actually had gold and silver scraps.
