(solved) why can't I tame anything?!?!?

    I got the taming necklace equipped.
    I got 6 taming collars.
    I used the taming creature skill.
    but NEVER WORKS WITH ANYTHING!!! :(

    I followed youtube videos (start hitting on animal and try to tame, nothing works),
    I tried to read a huge page about taming but gave up, that shouldn't be so complex...,
    anyway whatever I try NEVER WORKS!!!

    It is even more annoying because I spent a lot of time creating the taming necklace.
    It is even more annoying when I see ppl with huge bears smashing mobs.
    And even more when I ask on parties about why I am failing and nobody says anything,
    is that some kind of secret!??!?! :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

    so, any tips to begin taming? are appreciated :>, unless it is a secret then just ignore me :p

    You cant tame something onto the necklace if the necklace is locked.
