    From what I understand, it incurs decay and since you can no longer set your skills to maintain, I'd like to know what will happen now. I'm personally not willing to loose a bunch of GMs to test it out.

    Would love to hear what the results are after you test this.

    Does it just take xx amount of xp from your pool?

    Does it take a different amount of xp from your pool each time you request one (assumingly removing the amount equal to what would have been the skill decay cost on death... ie. is decay still working in the background)?

    Does it give you the reagent with no negative cost? That would certainly make people use these more often if it only cost you a trip to the respective colossus to recharge your item.

    I'm going to try it tonight but I expect that it'll take the full decay amount and since you can't set skills to maintain, it will take the decay proportionally from your skills.

    Well, just make sure you have the skills window open and pay attention if it removes anything from your xp pool (and if so, how much).

    So I was right, decay is incurred and there's no way to make it only take the experience from your pool. This pretty much guarantees that I'll never use the dread artifact's special power on live.

    [edit] Now that I think about it, I bet if I set all my skills to Training then it would take the XP from the pool first.

    Could you explain me what the purpose is of these? (Elixir of Dread, Gem of Truth or Tear of Sorrow)
    This is the first time I read about them.

    careful with that. the first set of reagents are free from the oracle, but after that you have to go to the various colossi and pay the automatons in decay. i suspect it's also a big virtue hit

    Hmmm. I always wondered what those reagents in my bag were. Thanks, I guess I will wait with using them then. I was just very curious how these special powers look like. Will test them in the next QA hehe.
