Title: SPOffline: Can't tell if I have tools equipped unless at crafting table

Blocker? no, but confusing
Details: I created a new avatar in SPOffline mode and went through the Battle of Highvale entry scene. At one point the tool tip told me that I could skin animals or harvest things if I had the proper tool equipped. In my inventory there are no tools, but I am still able to skin animals, chop trees, mine ore, etc. Once in Resolute, I visited the crafting pavilion and discovered that the crafting table interface shows that I have the proper tool equipped for the table, and even extra tools that I don't see in my inventory.
