Spoon's terminology thoughts part II - Crafting Tools
(Will do a series on SotA terminology).

So off to the crafting tools.

The "rule" of crafting tools is that so far we have:
    • the Artisan tools
    • the basic starter tools
    • the prosperity tools
    Their naming goes like this
    Artisan xxx
    xxx
    xxx of Prosperity

So for instance a matching example is Carpentry Hammer, it goes like this:
    Artisan Carpentry Hammer
    Carpentry Hammer
    Carpentry Hammer of Prosperity

    which is a match.

So lets list all the tools that match like that:
    Carpentry Hammer
    Cleaver
    Cooking Pot
    Cubit Measure
    Fishing Rod
    Loom Shuttle
    Mortar and Pestle
    Pickaxe
    Sickle
    Skinning Knife
    Smelting Tongs
    Smithing Hammer
    Tailoring Scissors
    Tanning Knife

That is pretty much all of them...except one.

    Artisan Harvest Axe
    Axe of Prosperity
    Harvesting Axe

A mismatch on two levels here. The prosperity one is missing the harvest* prefix. The artisan uses "harvest axe" and the basic is "harvesting axe".
So what is a 'harvesting axe' then? Well, mostly its a video game term to differentiate between axes used to killing stuff and axes used to gather with. So in that case a "gathering axe" would make much more sense. Though in real life agricultural industry a harvesting axe would be more akin to a machete or such which are used to harvest things like sugarcane with. But if we check out google images then Carpentry axe (or woodworking axe) tis really what we have in the game by the pure looks & length of it.
Now I get that the devs don't want to mix it up with Carpentry which is a different skill.
But why not use the more proper term "Felling Axe" instead? It explicitly refers to what it is used for and makes it distinct.
(Even the misnomer "Logging Axe" would be better than "harvesting axe" in my opinion due to its meta context).

I knew instinctively there was something wrong with the axe hierarchy, but couldn't put my finger on it. Each time I brushed it off only to encounter it again and again. When I was very new to SotA, in fact, I couldn't bring myself to dispose of the basic harvesting axe, even after purchasing the tools of prosperity...because I couldn't be sure they were the same thing.

Thanks for shedding some light on this, and yes, I endorse your suggested changes.
