    Pardon my new-ness to this ecosystem. I was looking over the cross promotions add-ons and was hoping to purchase the Star Citizen Airship City Home. But it says you need to own a City lot?.. I don't own any lot deeds as far as I can tell (Patron pledge). Just wondering if I am reading this correctly that I need to purchase a $1050 Player Owned Town City Lot so that I can purchase the $400 cross promotional. That seems a bit strange or am I missing something? Isn't there a lot somewhere in the ghetto/country I can buy? Maybe I can rent someones airspace...

    100% correct. Plus the in game tax as it's not a tax free lot.

    You can try to get a City lot deed in game with gold as well.

    I'm hoping they allow the airship to also be placed as a POT decoration.

    Hmm ok ouch. That seems a little bit out of touch. $1400 dollars(plus in game taxes). I wasn't looking for that much of wallet swallow. Just a little more support into the project collaborations etc. Apparently that boat has sailed( or flew in this case) Thanks!

    Welcome to the SotA family, Starbeam! As enderandrew mentioned, you don't need to buy a deed with real money. They can be purchased in-game and there will be lots available (especially in POTs) whenever you're ready to settle down in your airship.

    As mentioned by others you do not have to buy a city deed for $1050...you could also use the ingame lottery. Of course you would need some luck to win a city deed but this would be the cheapest possibility to get such a deed. You could also buy a deed from another avatar…I think at least some are selling them for ingame gold.

    @Starbeam , welcome to SotA! The current daily tax rate for a city lot is 3,500g or 1 coin of obsidian, every day - this would be a significant daily game time commitment if you don't intend to pay $1 a day to play!
