'Start on Map' and Chillbains Compendium

So, I was in the Compendium thingy in Braemar last evening and died. I was tired, and there was no ankh to revive, so I shut off my game, as a ghost.

I started up the game today, was given the screen to Resume in Chillbains, or Start on Map. I chose Start on Map. When the game finally loaded, I was surprised to find myself just outside of Ardoris. I should have started just outside of Braemar.
