    What counts as a 'creature' for the 'Novice Hunter' Steam achievement? I've been killing wolves and skeletons all over the place today, but my progress towards this achievement is still at 3/10. Is there something specific I need to kill, or are achievements broken in the current build?

    Was working early - maybe though steam connection isn't working right? Cuz, at one point it wasn't recording counting anything I killed/crafted after I got the novice hunter but now it is. No idea:rolleyes: maybe steam is being funky.

    For myself : It was pretty hit-or-miss on whether Steam updated properly during the Dev+ testing.

    Since then, it hasn't worked properly at all. :)

    My achievements' progress was updating fine until around the first patch that came out on Friday, then all numerical progress stopped updating :(


    To answer the OP's question, any hostile creature should count towards the achievement.

    I got three achievements today (wasn't playing the game at the time, I was at work), one of them was for "Kill 100 creatures" :)

    It isn't for me, this is very, very weird. Are you guys seeing them record in real time whilst you play? What are you killing or crafting to get them to pop?

    As I said, I was awarded the achievements while I was at work, I wouldn't classify that as real time.

    I did see my 'points of interest in Braemar' go from 4/7 to 5/7 when I was playing just now. However I ran around Owl's Head for a while and that's still at 0/10.

    I just checked on steam and yes, it does seem to have updated today without me logging on yet to play.

    Well my explore Braemar went from 6/7 back to 0/7 and none of my crafting or kills counted from yesterday for some reason.

    When you were trying the achievement, have you went to Challenge Dungeon? Have you used the exit of the map or did you zone? I think that some coordinates are "recorded" only when you use them, not when you find them.

    Ok, my thanks to Wizardsmoke behind the scenes, who has found the issue for me at least; When you launch the game, make sure

    USE SotA CREDENTIALS INSTEAD OF STEAM is turned OFF.

    Once your character loads, your achievements should all back-date.

    I don't see Owl's Head in there, so I'm going to cross check I've found all the locations.
