Stephen: Castle as a dam

    Hi,

    I'm not sure if this belongs to housing, but I had an idea about a castle. Maybe it is interesting.

    The castle is also a dam. So on one side of the castle there is a large artifical lake and on the other side there is a dry riverbed below. So the castle is really huge. Maybe it looks more like a wall or like a real dam with some towers etc.
    If there are attackers trying to besiege the castle, the flood gates are opened and the besiegers are swept away down the river bank.

    There could also be a reason for the artifical lake and the dam. Maybe there is a water dragon held captive in the lake for breeding purposes...

    Maybe you like the idea, jut wanted to share it with you :)

    We do have something similar in the works. It is not as grand as you described but it is a work in progress prototype. Thanks for the suggestion! :)
