Strange "striped x ray vision" rendering indoors

New player, long time backer here. When indoors, I see this very strange "striped x ray vision" effect, where rotating stripes on various surfaces (floors, walls, ceiling) are transparent, and I can see through to what's on the other side (the ground, the exterior of the building, the sky, etc.).

I've turned down the graphics settings basically as far as they'll go (I'm on a late 2015 MacBook Pro, so I'm expecting to have to compromise there), but the effect persists.

I'd upload a screenshot, but I can't figure out how to do that in this forum.

Thanks for the pointer @Feeyo . Here's an example from the burning house with Charlotte Gray in it - those circular bands of texture move continuously:

 

@Alley Oop that most definitely describes what I'm seeing - learning up on launch arguments now.

 

Adding -force-glcore to the launch options in Steam fixed it. Now to figure out how to force it to start at 320x200 resolution, so ye olde MBP stops smoking...
