Would love to have some animal named streets. Particularly anything avian but that's just me.
Examples - Falcon Terrace, Raven Way, Hawk Heights, Crow Circle, Jackdaw Avenue, Owl Path.
Streetnames with person's names and events in them, like:
If that's too personal, you could go for:
I haven't seen this one which is near and dear to my 17+ year old character from the original Britannia:
To me it would be a good residential street name.
These names could end with any number of things; lane, street, alley, boulevard - and maybe some German names like Strasse, Gasse)
In memory of the Ultima Online dungeons of old Britannia:
Others (from past Ultima series or random thoughts):
Ring of Fire
Feudal Lord Lane
From Ultima 4:
Seven Dungeons (lane, etc)
Names of all the 8 stones:
And so on =)
Historically major roads were named for locations they were going to/from. Greenfield, Fond du Lac, Mequon, etc. (examples from here in Wisconsin).
Since Avatars play a crucial role in the history of Britannia, it seems that every town, and city should have an Avatar named avenue or lane "Avatar Way" has a nice ambiguous meaning and sound to it I think.
Other historical places and names based on Ultima Lore
There might also be some minor roads that were named for major events in the history, victories over evil, or various pivotal historic points or people.
Of course, if a Guido Lane shows up...I'd be OK with that too
Some real-world street names would work, like Baker Street or Sunset Boulevard. Names that are fine all by themselves but have definite associations. So, other names in that line could be Downing Street, Wall Street, Pennsylvania Avenue. There must be others but my brain doesn't seem very nimble right now.
Other possibilities, basically random thoughts: Bagshot Row, Street of Cunning Artificers, Chandler Avenue.
And if there's a Market Street somewhere it must intersect with Castro Street, because that would be fabulous.
Streets named after some of the more memorable characters and events in Blade of the Avatar, and later sequels.
Alpine Ave, Fairy Lane, Tinker Bell Ave., Stardust lane, Midnight Ave., Mellow st, The Cats meow, Prowlers Lane, Path of Exile, Breezeway Path, Ladies Lane, Drifters Ave, Silvery Lane, Chatele's Ave., Warrior Circle, Faith Ave, Pumpkin Patch Square, Lake St., poverty lane, Echo Lane, Twilight Zone, hehehehe , Beer lane, Pembroke Ave, Blue Boar Street , Castle Street , Mousecatcher's Street , Newmarket Street , Fisher Row , Holywell Street , Logic Lane , Horsemill Lane, Magpie Lane , Parks Road , Queen's Lane , Rose Lane , Ship Street , summer lane, Winters Solstice Circle, Summoner's Lane , Bellsview Ave., Potter Street, Portpool Way, Fleshmongers Lane, Whitefriars Lane, Common Hall lane, Humming Bird Lane, HoneyMoon Ave, Watergate St, Foregate St, Eastgate st, etc parsons lanes, dog lane, catsbane ave, Crook lane,

Every street leads somewhere and its name should have practical use. Every town has similary street names, like Baker Street, Miller ...
The few Roads that lead to no specific location would have VIP Names, Animal Names and so on.
The street name changes between two cities in the middle.
From City A -> City B = City B Street
From City B -> City A = City A Street
A long Road leading to the capital would have a name like "Kings Road" maybe there is an "Old Kings Road".
Some ways denote the villagers as "The old logging trail" or "Miners Path"
I do not think any street in the city needs a name. I would prefer if guards could describe the way to the nearest pub.

How about memorable characters and events from the Ultima series
Would be nice to have that 'wink' or ' nod' to the fans.
Iolo ( or Eyolo )
Dupre st ( or Duprae st )
Shamino ( or Shimano st )
Beh Lem st
Petra st ( the automaton from Ultima 7 serpent Isle )
Batlin ( or Bat Lane - a play on words ) Ultima 7 black gate
...and probably dozens of other characters I can't think of at the moment. If there is an issue with EA owning the rights to them, you could always twist them a bit in the way Shamino became 'Shimano river' or Batlin becomes 'Bat Lane'.
I have a couple of thoughts on this. The first one is that this should be added to the backer's benefits (as was suggested earlier), to select a street name after the character they play (or plan to play on release).
So my contribution is:
The second way to do this (which might be more beneficial to the game) is to make this an add-on in the store. That way it would benefit the game overall.
Separate names with a comma.
