Suggestion: Make Corpse Explosion a more meaningful choice.

    If you loot a corpse it disappears.

    If you use corpse explosion on a corpse it doesn't and you can keep milking the same corpse until it disappears.

    I'd like to see the mechanic change so you have to choose between looting it or exploding it...

    We need more meaningful choices in when/why we use skills, IMO.

    A third option, which as a CE abuser I'll also dislike - only allow one detonation per corpse. Timing becomes much much more important that way. And you can still loot it.

    I mean, if the body goes boom, you might still be able to scrape off some leather or recover a dagger or the like....

    It doesn't need an even greater penalty to its situational usage. This would lower it's damage and use considerably.

    No other AoE requires an extra component to cast like that, hence why the scaling is greater. The glyph is basically useless in combat unless you have already fought long enough to kill one mob.

    That also fits perfectly into the Death Magic theme. The closer to death you are, the stronger your affinity to the art.

    The effect could just be an actual explosion (rapid expansion of gas) and not reliant on shrapnel from corpses.

    Corpse explosion only works well in a specific scenario where you manage to lure the mobs to concentrate at one location and then make sure their corpses lay nearby each other. It wouldn't do much if you're fighting against range mobs that are spreading out.

    User Guide to Corpse Explosion

    1. Kill rabbit
    2. Draw in multiple mobs
    3. Use CE on rabbit to kill mobs
    4. Rinse. Repeat.
