What about making escorting NPC's and NPC's you can hire for the day to help you fight like in UO. NPC's should respond be very interactive and I know this could be difficult to make happen but atleast have them respond to key words and give speeches even if it doesn't always make sense. Have an NPC mapmaker that has maps of towns, roads, and dungeons. This could also be a skill mapmaking similar to UO and you don't have to get too complex with it. Maybe a skill for mapmaking for sailors but in time I understand , first things first get speech working then worry about other NPC, quests etc., in the future.
Thank you for your time in reading and I hope you use some of my suggestions.

Hark back to what made UO great. Multiple Dungeons with multiple creatures that are from history and lore from mid evil times like the dragon, drakes , liches, bone knights, vampire bats, giant toads, medusa, Pegasus, unicorns, sphinx, and griffins. Take a look at Dungeon and Dragons creatures. Take from history, Dungeon and Dragons the dice game, and Ultima and combine them. Giving different creatures different spells , weapons, and abilities made UO great. Continue that tradition. Also loot on creatures should be based on difficulty. creatures that have godly loot should take a team of 12 -15 players to get one item. And this godly item should be a temporary thing maybe lasting for a month before it has to be passed on to another player or vanishes into the ether or magically teleports back to the dungeon of where it spawn. Thank you for reading and I want to wish the developers good luck in making game work well and much success. Anything I can do to help let me know. Get in contact with me if you have any questions about my posts.
