Summon air elemental

lvl 100 Summon air elemental with a adventure level 93 player

the damage from this summon is exactly the same
r 40.
avg hit vs practice dummy 7 - 10

There seems to be a bug in the new summon leveling

So 100% something is broken with the math behind summons

 

Just to add a couple observations on the summon air elemental:

1) At lvl 85 summon air elemental skill, tooltip shows 46.9% chance to use reagents, but every cast uses the reagents (with over 100+ casts tested while leveling up the skill to test). Sooo this aspect does not work.

2) Air elemental hit points did increase as I leveled up the skill, up to 321 hp from 234 starting. Curiously though, the HUD below the character picture shows the elemental as still having 234 hp (though when I target the creature I can see the 321 hp). Interestingly, if I turn hud option for showing hit points off and then back on, the elemental shows correctly as having 321hp, until I summon it again, then the elemental's picture below the character picture drops back to the original 234 hp (although, again, when targeted the elemental shows 321 hp).

3) Air elemental also has male laugh instead of female laugh (water and fire elementals appear to have female laugh, I think this is a bug specifically with the air elemental).

P.S. thanks for the work in progress on the elementals, it is nice having casting level have some impact, looking forward to what follows on in balancing & such

 

This was reported in Dev+, if you cast some sort of buff on the elemental (e.g. Strength of Earth) the HPs will be corrected.

 

Not just hp, but damage scaling to level! : )
