Summon / Pet Command hot keys are still not working . . .

I can not say how long this has been broken but it really needs to be a priority since it has been dysfunctional for so long. I have my pet set in Def Mode before anyone asks.

Anyhow I am out working up a Siege and am dancing around with a Champion and an Engineer. I have the Champion taged as my primary target (reticle is red next to him and he is the one I have the health bar up for. So I hit my hot key to have my pet attack the same target I am hitting to help me take it down faster. Mr Slushie has decided he is better off hitting the Engineer. I have to right clik on the Champion or his health bar and directly command him to redirect onto the Champion. This HAS to be fixed, this has been an issue forever and . . . . .

So I am still here and I changed Mr Slushie to Aggressive and all seemed to be going well, until I crested a hill and there was a Champion and Marksman up there waiting in ambush. I cycle thru and get the Marksman up as primary target and hit hot key to have him attack Marksman but he is persistent to stay on the Champion. Both where in LOS and not under cover. No matter where I moved to I could not Hot Key Command him to hit the Marksman, until I right clicked on him to bring up a interface (meaning I stopped fighting for a second). Sorry but if one commands their Summons / Pet to attack something there is a good reason for it and the game should not work against me in this area.

Now the pet (aggressive) ignored both Hot key AND Right click on target bar. As a result in a fight with a Drakkaller and Berkaller I was trying to take out the Drakkler first but since Mr sluhie stayed focused on the Berkaller I died trying to redirect him.

Sorry but this is something that needs to be fixed and is now getting to the point of using pets pointless. I am beyond using them to take out low tier critters and am actually trying to use them to work with me and support MY combat, NOT what the game thinks how I should fight. Very old, very sad to let this fester.

Alrighty now - I am in Sawtooth Thicket scouting to outer edges looking for ore node and ran across some Spiderz, while fighting a Fer Red, a Large one interceded and Mr Slushie decided to go after the LRS instead of the FRS one which I commanded with hot key, and then right clicked on health bar. Yes I had the FRS as reticled target (Primary)

Since it has no tag it looks like being ignored . .

This is really a critical issue that has been a problem for ages.

When is it going to be acknowledged and when is it going to be fixed?
