Bump: All my Taming Whistles are now broken including the ones that already have creatures in them oh, and why do the whistles have durability anyway?

 

Durability was applied to all necklace item types, this includes whistles. This is a known issue. All newly created whistles will have working durability.

 

I do not understand why you would add durability to summoning whistles when the pet already has a chance to die, if it is your intention to keep this in the game I am extremely disappointed in this, all it is is time sink.....

 

Whistles can still be used even with broken durability.

 

Since the original bug report above line 3 states that you cant even tame an elder wolf with the new whistle I tried taming a large desert wolf. This worked as per normal, so the only broken here is the durability showing as 0/0. The whistles work normally other than that.

 

Apologies for not clarifying. The issue is a visual one, and caused by our new selection system. It would work and display the correct numbers if the target were "selected" via shift-click. The bug submitted and known is to get it to present the correct numbers for the active tame target regardless of selection.
