While the "Mounted Proficiency" speaks only generally about "mounts", the following skill "Mounted Gallop Speed" mentions specifically horses. The skills following that then again only use mount. Are really only horses meant in "Mounted Gallop Speed" - in which case it should not be the pre-requisite of the two folloup skills but start a seperate branch of "fast horses (e.g. arabians)" vs. "coldbloods (e.g. the heavy horses used by knights or by D´Artagnan as the horse he rides to Paris on in one of the movies of the 3 Musketeers) while the other branch takes care of non-horse mounts (e.g. large cats).
