Tantalus Consortium - Group of Towns and Guilds

This post is to set out the purpose and direction of Tantalus Consortium. The concept is simple and easy to understand: a group of towns and guilds that come together for common benefit. We do not restrict membership by in-game location nor real world relocation. We welcome players of all ages and playing types.

We work with many groups in SotA already and take a light approach to governance of our member towns.

New members are welcome to join us.​

Mission Statement

Tantalus Consortium seeks town owners to cooperate through the transfer of goods and services throughout the realms of New Britannia. We are an open community which has come together in the spirit of camaraderie to help all its members to flourish in the Arts, Crafts and Trade.


Benefits of Membership

• Coordinated events and help coordinating events.
• Embassies in like-minded communities.
• Rosters of Merchants, Artisans and Crafters.
• Real estate assistance in finding housing or tenants among community.

Recognition of Active Members

Members who promote community health through engagement or leadership in trade, crafting, role-play, diplomacy etc will be rewarded.

Today, I put Emerald gem on a bronze shortsword...

 

Thanks to all who have posted. I'll need to check out sotacraft, haven't done that yet.

Charles and Msikang are members of my guild, RSFIE, and thus of Tantalus. They are actively playing the game and currently figuring out advanced crafting.

 

They're doing pretty good. Once in awhile they are missing a recipe or need to update something, but all in all a nice resource.

 

Sightings of a mysterious stranger....

If you have seen a character in game by the name of Blake Blackstone then you are correct if you suspected it is the real player. He is currently doing some leveling and just relaxing in the game. I think he enjoys chatting with folks and just taking it easy.

I was beside Dinsoo when he started sniffing the air. Sometimes Dinsoo makes me nervous but for the most part I just don't wash and sleep with my door locked.
