Targeting Says Cat is a Dog

    Here is a simple example of how confusing the shift-targeting system can be.
    1. Title: Targeting Says Cat is a Dog (also Blue vs White Reticle)
    2. Reproduction Rate: Ongoing
    3. Blocker? No
    4. Details: Shift Click Targeting Does Not Produce Expected Results
    5. Steps to Reproduce: Shift Click Mutt, Get Mutt health indicator. Shift Click Cat, Reticules moves to Cat, but Mutt Targeting Indicator continues to indicate it is a dog being targeted
    6.     Also confused on why the reticle was blue the second time I tried to repeat this.

    Oh, its because we can kill dogs in town, but not cats? I'm now getting a red reticle on Shepard Mutt's after repeating the shift click exercise. The cat reticle turned blue after the shepherd turned red. Originally they were both white. All screenshots were taken in non-combat mode.

    Dogs should not be killable in towns. NPC state issue. Bug submitted. Both Cats and Dogs should be sharing the friendly NPC targeting system. Note that hostile selections will take precedence over friendly selections.
