Teachable / Reteachable question

    Hail!
    Does anybody know ?

    If someone teaches me a teachable recipe (or emote) , I can't teach it to others.
    Can I then still buy the recipe to get me the teacher status, or can I not use it because I already know the recipe ?

    Last I checked, yes, if you purchase the teachable recipe and learn it, it gives you the ability to teach others. This aspect was originally introduced when all recipes transitioned from being discoverable to needing recipes--those who had previously discovered the recipe needed to purchase the recipe to be able to unlock the ability to teach others.
