Teleport to party member

Why are we not allowed to teleport to party members? Why do we need to add one of them to the friends list first? This seems completely stupid to me.

When I use a teleport to friend scroll, I don't see party members on the list unless they're in my friends list. Is there something that I'm missing?

No, it's never worked for me.

 

scroll down and find them in the greyed-out portion of the list, mouse over and see why it says they are not valid targets.

 

I don't think they're in the grayed-out section but I'll check next time.

 

For teleport you have to be in the same mode.
Also you cannot teleport if in combat mode.
Weight should not be a problem for in party teleport.

Unless things have changed, and I have not had to check this in a while.

 

This is probably the issue, which seems really stupid to me because as soon as you enter the scene, you're automatically put into whatever mode the party leader is in.

 

Quite true. It seems an unusual design choice.

 

There are some scenes you can never teleport to when in a party, even though you're automatically put in with your party mates when you get there, which is also stupid. Such as Elysium mines and the ruined keep. You're forced to use a teleport to zone scroll to get there.
