Telethon question.

Why does the telethon start at $33k. I figured this would save some speculation on the forums and Reddit.

Why?

1) Because every Friday counts towards the Livestream rewards. The first Friday was last week.

2) Every dollar spent by people that participate in the Rewards program counts toward the total.

It’s not just the telethon livestream day that counts anymore. It been that way for a few months now.

 

I believe that also include monthly subscription amounts.

 

It is just as jiirc said. Since some months we have the timeframe of a full release (one month) to reach the stretch goals.
Basically the calculation to get the livestream rewards is: rewards program + purchases during the twelve hour window on first friday + purchases during the twelve hour window on second friday + purchases during the twelve hour window on third friday + purchases during the twelve hour window on fourth friday

 

except R59 will only have 3 Fridays, and it looks like R61 will have seven Fridays.

 

R61 should definitely have the dragon sword and the fire plate as rewards... *keeps dreaming*

 

They should have a dragon claw staff where you can type some word of power to activate light as reward too.

That aside, usually when does the deduction for subscription takes place?

 

On the same day of the month that you first purchased... I get charged on the 6th of every month.
