Telethon question

    I had posted the question below for the telethon but I wasn't able to watch. Can anybody tell me if it was addressed?

    – Can we please get an on-screen indication (like an icon) that shows when we’re in decoration mode?

    1. Bind a key (I use left-control keypad-plus on a big keyboard) to toggle deco mode.
    2. Leave it off most of the time
    3. Toggle it once or twice to check; the new status will display on the screen

    They answered it, but I think they interpreted the question incorrectly. Starr seemed to think there was already an indicator (that usage bar when you move items). I am sure what you meant was a constant indicator on screen, not just when you actively moving something. Truthfully, it sucks having to go all the way into settings to turn decoration mode on an off. Plus the majority of people wont even know it is an option as it is hidden. Decoration mode causes all kinds of problem with normal game play. It deserves an official GUI location, or a menu check item or something...

    So, I pinned the housing UI and then turned off decoration mode and the housing UI is still visible, so this is not an indicator of when you're in decoration mode. If it actually worked that way (popped up when you turned on decoration mode and disappeared when you turned off decoration mode) then that would be excellent and would totally suffice (in fact, that would be so much better than just an icon). Maybe what I should do is complain about that and then perhaps they'll get it.

    If memory serves right, they were making fun of "more options in the options menu" concept but, like @Tahru said, DarkStarr was somewhat confused by the question too.
