"The website is too busy to show the webpage"

Is anyone else getting this message when accessing the forums? For over a week now I get it intermittently when I try to access the forum or open a post. Refreshing the page eventually works, but it is annoying. I don't get this on any other websites currently, or I would think my OS is to blame. (Windows 10, IE 11).

I've not had any issue, and Fredrick beat me to the suggestion of clearing out your cache. Hope it sorts the problem for you.

 

I would like to use Win 10 but I can't seem to get use to the changes. When it was on my desktop I couldn't find a way to change to a homepage I normally use from the one Win 10 forced me to use. I don't know what I will do in a few years when we have to make the change. Sry to hijack, hope the cache clearing helps your problem.

 

I've been getting it somewhat. Win 10 and Edge tell me that there's a traffic jam on the information superhighway, as too many people are trying to load the page.

So would you all please get off??

Thank you for the tip. I cleared everything and disabled the very few addons/extensions that were enabled (e.g. Bing Translator, Skype), but I am still getting the error message on the SotA site. It is very odd because it doesn't pop up with any other site. I just switched to FireFox to see if I have any problems with that using the SotA site.

 

Been having this issue lately myself.

 

Yes, web 408 errors.

 

Since about a week this has been happening to me too, just a few times and only in the SoTA forums. Win 10
