The Willows

So I had a conversation with the Alchemist in Kingsport, to get the herbs for poor Winslow. When I said goodbye, she said something like "May the Willows watch over you" or "may the Willows guide your path" or some such.

Has anyone encountered other mentions of this? It seemed like a snippet of lore similar to the small mentions of the Oracle.

Wonder if this is significant. Thoughts?

 

Will be hard, because the "Willows" normally are very shorts.

 

The lady whose name I've forgotten, who hangs around near the rift in Kingsport, also mentions the Willows. It sounds to me like a magical or perhaps druidic thing, possibly a philosophical or religious path they follow, as this lady was the alchemist's mentor but they appear to have had some kind of separation or falling out recently.

 

Ah! Good info there Karrolanth, thank you! I shall seek out this other lady and perhaps uncover some more clues this week. Excited to see if what lore these tidbits lead to (Yew2?)

 

See if you can get either of them to talk about it... I tried telling the Lady that the alchemist had said she missed her, and that she should visit (wish I could remember their names!), but she ignored that and just repeated the same stuff she'd said earlier.

One day we'll get to the bottom of it!
