There should be 'Shroud of the Avatar_Data' folder next to the executable\

I kept getting that message after patching 3 days ago . I tried to re-install and when that didn't work I went ahead and linked my account to my steam account so I could patch through them since I hear their patches where somehow superior but no luck now it will just crash without any message or sometimes I get the windows reporting pop up but that's it.
OS:windows 10 pro
CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 455
Ram 8.0 G (4.0 G. x2)
board: dell
hard drive: ST310005 20AS SCSI

 

okay I just figured out I had only added the game to my steam library and not actually linked . well now i'm linked and downloaded from steam for the client and am patching now. waiting to see what the results are

 

okay patched thru steam and problem resolved guess I'm in up to the hilt and there's no pulling out now lol.
