Worlds first electronic game. Not the worlds first video game I’m afraid.

“Under most definitions, the device is not considered a video game, as while it had an electronic display it did not run on a computing device. Therefore, despite its relevance to the early history of video games, it is not generally considered a candidate for the title of the first video game.” - wiki

I 100% disagree with this. Video is a cathode ray tube, not a computer. What we call "video games" today is actually incorrect; they're "computer games".

LOL, in any case, it was the name of the article....hence the title.

This is a very comprehensive & Interesting video that discusses the first video game.
It discusses all of the earliest candidates, suggests a definition for video game, and then concludes which was the first game based on their definition.
    Definitely worth a watch.

first part of that video is great Rinaldi..but eventually it gets too technical for this old man...only 20 minutes in and my poor brain hurts!
