Where is the thread about the Tracy Hickman novel for the $500 + backers?
THis is not the thread you are looking for *waves hand*
Its right beneath this one
Oh nvm you meant the other other one
Yes , I meant the 2 months old one.
It was deleted
It was removed
Deleted.... ouch! I called it being "locked," but they did me one better!
Was the book deleted too?
I heard from a kid that saw Ferris at 31 flavors last night, that the book that was "too big to fit in the box", was never actually printed and we were all lied to.
Perhaps it was because it was printed as a coffee table book....in a different multiverse. If people spend enough money a portal will be opened and the book may be sent without tracking numbers to some people.
You've been robbed.
Nah, it's just full loot PVP! (Portalarium vs. Player)
*looks up from reading his physical book* eh? Oh. Yea. Never printed. *pats you on the head and buries nose back in book*
Way late (and after we were told it didn't fit into the box - before it was actually printed) It's available for a dollar (or so) on Amazon.
Too bad people that paid for it via Kickstarter never received it. Might as well not have been printed.
I'm still waiting for Episode 5 I paid for . Should be out any day now!
So this kid you heard it wasnt even printed from lied to you?
Hey @Arkah EMPstrike we're talking here about "Blade of the Avatar" signed (or not) physical novel.
The book you have is "Sword of Midras" which Portalarium is NOT allowed to print or send.
So yeah, BotA was never printed and we'd like to know when it will be.
So the title isnt what you wanted??
I dont get this whole “the book doesnt exist” thing. It was published like a year ago. Its got more chapters and a different title and it wouldnt fit in the box. I dont understand the pitchfork waving and telling people there isnt a book
Not the same thing.
The complaints are about the pledge reward which has not been printed and not been shipped to backers
So hence the "Blade of the Avatar" novel only exist digitally, not physically.
What you have in your hand is the Tor book which was printed, published and sold.
The comments about the not fitting in the box, is because the box was designed after the choice was made not to include the novel in that shipment. So it not fitting is kinda irrelevant since it was made not to fit since they knew the novel wouldn't be in it.
Back then since the novel was known to be delayed they didn't want to hang all of the shipping all the physical rewards on waiting for the printing of the novel.
Hence they planned and designed the shipment without the novel which meant they designed a smaller box.
