Unexpected Login Service outage

    The outage started circa 5am and lasted for 1.5 hours.

    During the outage, the game server remained up and running for players who remained in game, however player attempting to login received a message indicating the login server was not responding.

    The issue was due to an unscheduled update to the web server cluster in the EU datacenter. We will be having an internal post mortem and will adjust their work processes to ensure additional protections and testing procedures are in place for future work.
