Unicorn Bow Strings Have Lesser Stats Than Imbued Elven Strings

Not sure if this is intended, but the unicorn bow strings have inferior stats than the stats of the imbued elven strings - dexterity and weapon critical chance. Please see below for comparison between hard maple crossbows made with unicorn and imbued elven speed bow strings (1 of each). Please multiply the stats 2x for long bows.

For the amount of time it takes to (a) find a unicorn encounter, (b) get the right color unicorn, (c) kill that unicorn, the stats seem underwhelming. One sylvian bow string requires 2 unicorn hairs to make, which means a long bow will need 4 unicorn hairs to make a subpar weapon.

Are the 2 virtue effects versus 3 elven effects intended or are there hidden effects not listed?

 

That's ridiculous. And to think I was excited about new bowstrings.

 

Does it scale all the way to 10 like the other virtue quest items?
