Yes correct. Same as mine now. Now wait for Undone to finish his build and hopefully we can test Today. :D

You can still update if it isn't at the latest; you just can't login and play.

There is an offline mode.. think the input bug can be tested there also. Including the trees. If updates works...

Oh they tighten the chains and give him enough pizza and coffee :D

Oh behalf of at least 2 bums I personally know, what performance issues were addressed in the Unity update (for Linux)¿

I see how it is; I'll instruct @BurningToad to slow down the builds...

So @Undone did you have time to test that SDL env workaround on your GNU/Linux system?
I wonder if the workaround fixes the lagg issue on the latest Unity build, and how is performance now compared to the older unity builds?

    * Linux build is now on Unity 2018.1 like PC and OSX have been. This should resolve a number of known issues.
    Very happy penguin here!!

The variable setting is handled by the new launcher update and a new Steam launch script. If you run the game executable directly, you will need to set the environmental variable yourself before running. The environmental variable is XMODIFIERS, and it should be set to empty.

    SDL bug details - https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4215

If you are using Steam, you may need to restart Steam for it to work correctly and get the latest launch parameters.

This is good to know. Any improvement in the hitching issue (I expect not since it's on Windows and Mac too)?

it seems you need to buy your LSD on your own, now :p

Yes, thank you. Have a client here that is updated by rsync and launched without the launcher. Because the launcher messes the install up on update.

can you also unset http_proxy https_proxy ftp_proxy no_proxy NO_PROXY ? Neither the launcher nor the client is proxy aware.
    (.desktop file currently used: Exec=env -u http_proxy -u https_proxy -u ftp_proxy -u no_proxy -u NO_PROXY ~/Spiele/Shroud\ of\ the\ Avatar/Shroud\ of\ the\ Avatar\ -\ Launcher.x86_64)

For me there is no problem with key buffering now. Even when the client stops responding (a short while) due to loading new deco into memory or swapping. (and renew the ssd cache)
    User Specs:
    OS: Linux 4.4 Ubuntu 16.04 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz (2) System RAM: 7982
    GPU: AMD CYPRESS (DRM 2.43.0 / 4.4.0-131-generic, LLVM 6.0.0) GPU RAM: 1003

I think it was a good idea to be brave and roll it out directly on live version. No risk, no reward. *thumps up*

Still same hitching though. Hopefully they can pinpoint that problem soon.

You can export the proxy variables in your terminal:
    Code:
    export http_proxy="ip:port"
    export https_proxy="ip:port"
    export ftp_proxy="ip:port"
