Vendors should accept Obsidian Crowns

Vendors should be able to accept Obsidian Crowns as currency as an alternative to gold.

For example, here's how I think it should work. When you put an item on a vendor it currently asks you how much gold you'd like to sell the item for. I think it should also ask you if you'd like to accept Obsidian Crowns as an alternative currency. If yes, which crowns will you accept and how many will you accept for the item you're selling.

In addition, you should be able to make work orders that pay in Obsidian Crowns.

 

oh! Did you mean for player and public vendors? I think the title should be adjusted a bit before people say "heck no!" without reading the whole post.

I think this will save everyone's time when they want to trade COTOs with other players.

I mean the public and player vendors can already buy and sell COTOs for GP, so why not allow buy and sell items for COTOs, right?

 

I did mean player and public. Why do you think people would say heck no?

 

Because the title may trigger PTSD on people who were very jumpy about NPC vendors bought COTO for GP a few weeks ago.

 

Oh...well they should get over that.

It's a premium currency so it only makes sense that we'd use it as a currency.
