What happens when The Unbreakable meets The Immortal?
Ok so the trick is: Keep running back and forth between his legs No seriously, again, good job!
Oh that reminds me, have not reported that bugged spot where you fall under the ground. Great video Alcedes.
Yup. Thats it. Your turn.
Which?! That entire island is a "bugged spot" lol
And thanks both of you!
Congratulations again, Alcedes!
Thanks again, Mata.
Tom, der Troll ist Grobmotoriker.
I'm just saying...a Troll's private area would be a spot I'd definitely avoid. Something could get in the way. Or it might smell funny
Great job Alcedes.
Great job Alcedes! That must have been extremely intense and very rewarding with the crowd showing up to watch. I'm sure the previous attempt(s?) with Themo helped you to perfect that strategy.
The video was very entertaining to watch and the music selection was excellent as well, so kudos on the production aspect too! I wish I was there to witness it in person.
Now, if I may, I'd like to make a prediction about being able to do this later on (this is not a knock on how Alcedes did this, but more like reasons why it may not be possible with this strategy later on)...
First off, I expect that they will at some point introduce player/combat collision. This means that you may not be able to duck back and forth between his legs. Perhaps you will have to go around him instead? That right there may be enough to scrap this whole strategy unless you can change it up with dodging rolls or something else to help you avoid his attacks.
Also, the Devs stated that the Trolls are not working 100% as they plan right now. Perhaps they will add or fix some of his attacks that work in a more AOE style as opposed to directly in front? If that happens, then it's likely going to be much harder when he's able to stun/knockdown/knockback/damage/etc. even if you do manage to get behind him.
Again, this is not taking a shot at Alcedes. I just believe that being able to reproduce this later on down the road won't be as easy. Then again, perhaps new skills or perhaps armor improvements will be added that will make a solo attempt easier. There is no way to tell right now. My point though is I don't believe this ducking back and forth technique will be viable forever... so all those thinking this might be an exploit or whatever need not worry. You do have to admire Alcedes for figuring it out and accomplishing a solo of this beast! Well done sir.
Indeed, great job.
This is only one of the ways i have found to do this. There are 2 more, neither of which involving running through his legs. this is simply the easiest method currently. but thanks!
