    • Valor: A series of tournaments (Jousting, fencing, archery)
    • Courage: The mayor of the town dresses up in a monster costume and the children/townsfolk chase away the monster
    • Honor: Recommitment ceremonies. Knights recommit their oaths to their lords, and spouses recommit their vows to each other
    • Justice: Hold a MOCK trial in the truest sense. Jester as the judge while the mayor is on trial for a made-up silly offense. Citizens in the trial and encouraged to prosecute, defend and testify.
    • Humility: Everyone wears simple, tattered clothing and the most humble of foods is served. Cabbage soup for all!
    • Spirituality: What would be fascinating would be if this holiday weren't merely ritualistic, but truly supernatural. What if on this day, the shroud between the land of the living and dead was weakened, and more spirits crossed over? People could ACTUALLY talk to the spirits of the deceased.
    • Compassion: Charity drive. Players can participate by collecting donations from NPCs and other players and delivering them.
    • Honesty: One day of the year where criminals can repent and have any/all bounties/fines erased.
    • Truth: Anonymous confession day. People drop anonymous confessions in a box, and then once a year they are posted publicly. The town can gather at the message board and read all the confessions.
    • Sacrifice: The residents of a given city prepare their dinners and then bring them to their local guards/soldiers/knights. They sacrifice one night of dinner to remember those who sacrifice every day in service.
    • Love: SotA will have theaters, so let us use them! For this holiday, people attend a performance of New Britannia's favorite love story. We could have a fan/community contest to write the play.

Since the "Blade of the Avatar" novel is still being doled out, I'm unsure what the state of the Virtues are at the end of the story.

I do know however that at the beginning, the virtues have very little influence on the lives of the common folk.

Unclear whether they would actually celebrate virtue-related holidays in that case.

    We shall see. :)

All hail the virtues of Wine, Women, and Song, so speaketh Mandrake the Bard! ;)

And agreed on not knowing which Virtues there are (or lack thereof!:), since we know so far that the ruling empire is comprised of some not so nice people who probably aren't big time revelries.

Imagine U5, we could be given a choice; support the order and control of the lawful Oppression, or risk it all to see freedom flourish at the hands of the Resistance! :D

Yeah, even in IV, these were not quite aspects of a dominate religion. They were always meant as splinters where you had to choose one path or another. In a multi-player game, I expect this to be even more true. A group of people who believe justice is important, might simply not honor sacrifice at all.

IIRC, we will only really learn about Love, Truth and Courage in Ep1. The rest will be "revealed" to us in subsequent episodes and what their meaning is or rather how the survivors of the Cataclysm have (re)interpreted their meaning to be after The Fall. I do like the ideas proposed in the OP though.
