    That pictures shows a Mordhau, where you take the blade in your hands and clobber the enemy with the pommel or hilt of the longsword.
    Which makes perfect sense, considerering that cutting through a fully armoured person is almost impossible. Either find a gap in the armour or clobber it until unconscious.

    It´s from a Fechtbuch - a book about how to fight.

    However, depicting ways to fight that do not exist ingmae will raise questions, won´t it?
