    What a cool guy he must have been. It seems like every role he ever played turned out to be career defining for him... one of my personal favorites was See No Evil, Hear No Evil. As ridiculous as that movie turned out to be, Wilder turned it down twice because he thought the script was too offensive in its treatment of deaf and blind people. He was able to rewrite much of the script and while studying for his role he met his wife (speech pathologist) of 25yrs.

    Wow this hit me hard, I grew up watching Gene. Luckily he has been immortalized by film and we can still see his work. This man is a legend.
