Weeds on my lot

Details: I've reported this a few times but I have some new information about it. Essentially, when I change scenes (like enter my basement and then come back out) my lot (a keep island) will then be partially covered in weeds. It seems the layer that removes the grasses shifts forward. Please see the text and screenshots below for further information.

When I first log in, the back of my lot is clean:




Here's the area in front of my lot. Note the weeds:




After entering and reemerging from my basement, The back of my lot is full of weeds:




And the area in front of my lot is now clear of weeds, indicating that the layer used to clear the weeds has somehow shifted forward:

 

Apparently we need uhm..... goats as pets. they will take care of that
