    Usually it would either increase a certain type of weapons power (and it might do that in the case of STR), Maybe helps Magic with INT, but what does DEX do? Does it increase any weapon's power? Does it help with Crit, Atk Speed, Hit Chance?

    I have it set at 5 each (in the glyphs) just in case, but if at the moment it doesn't do much, I will reduce it so I can put the points into something else.

    Thanks:)

    Hit the V key and it shows a bunch of stats.
    Probably remembering damage stats before and after increasing them and comparing will help.

    I don't expect Portalarium to release too much in the way of deep number factors. The intent is to minimize the whole min/max thing that people tend to do to come up with the "best" build, etc.

    I have seen some players running tests and posting observations; might try searching the forums here for numbers but realize things will change, not even all of the skills are active yet, to true balancing is still many releases away.

    One clue we do have is a strength indicator (SSD or SDD) on weapons that indicate the impact STR has on using the weapon. Might start there.

    Increasing strength, dexterity and intelligence has no effect on my base damage from what I can tell. Dexterity doesn't increase my damage avoidance.

    Strength appears to be the best stat right now. It increases health, carrying capacity and attack skill for me. In previous releases, dexterity didn't even increase my attack skill while strength and intelligence did.

    I don't know what the stats actually do. I've heard it suggested that the three stats affect attack skill differently based on the weapon type. But this is what I would like to see:

    Dexterity:
    * Attack skill with ranged and quick weapons
    * Damage avoidance
    * Max health, but half as much as Strength (if +1 Strength gave you +2 health, then +1 Dexterity should give you +1 health)
    * Health regeneration rate (twice as much impact as Strength)
    * Focus regeneration rate
    * Reduce armor penalty on fizzle rate

    Intelligence:
    * Ranged attack skill (perception basically)
    * Spell damage
    * Max focus
    * Focus regen rate
    * Magic resistance
    * Fizzle rate

    Strength:
    * Melee damage
    * Melee attack skill (anything you can swing harder, be it quick or slow weapons)
    * Max health (twice as much as Dexterity)
    * Health regeneration rate (half as much impact as Dexterity)
    * Carry weight
    * Reduce armor penalty on fizzle rate
