When I enter a town, there is something called renown listed beneath the name. What is it? How does it help you to increase it? How do you increase it?
Actually, what I though was the word renown was the word ransom. It's in parentheses after the phrase Tier X Adventure Area. But I still don't know why it says "No Ransom".
That is in reference to pvp and is kind of out of date since there is no ransom anywhere in game currently. You now lose nothing when you die in pvp but the victor gets a body part with your name on it. In the past you lost an item but could pay a ransom to get it back. But some towns were set not to have that ransom. Then later it was removed from all pvp.
