When interacting with quest related npc, and need to give item, the "give" button unresponsive

Title: When interacting with quest related npc, and need to give item, the "give" button unresponsive

Details: Starting with courage quest interaction with kobold assistant, when asked to give an item to the quest npc, the give button stopped working. This may be related to the kobold emissary who was going to walk me over to another guy to interact but he said, "returning to post" after I turned away from him instead of following him. Ever since then, anytime I need to give an item to a quest npc, the trade window opens and I find the item and move it to the right side, then click "give" the window doesnt close and the item appears to remain in my possesion. But, the quest will continue correctly even though the item does not transfer. To demonstrate this part, I have a picture of my inventory where there are two mail packages. The one I was supposed to give the etceter town crier is still in my bag, and the new one for another city is also in my bag.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do courage quest up to whe you talk to kobold leader in Skrekk
2. Speak to kobold guardian near door
3. Give him the letter
4. He gives it back and tells you to follow him.
5. Turn away from him for a few seconds then try to catch up
6. He says he is going back, and a system message says you are no longer escorting
7. Open chat again with him.
8. Quest mechanics tries to resume where you give him the letter.
9. This time, the "give" button doesnt work so you just keep the letter.
10. But, surprisingly the quest resumes correctly
11. You are able to complete the courage line even though you can never get the "give" button to work right.
12. Go on about your business...
13. Try to give mail to the etceter town crier
14. The "give" button still doesnt give it
15. You end up with etceter mail package and resolute mail package.

After interacting with etceter town crier, the trade dialog remains open and apparently the etceter mail package remains in my bag.



Here, I scroll back a few lines so you can see that the town crier acknowledged that I gave him the mail for etceter. And, he gave me the 200 gold.



After the etceter town crier failed to get the mail package I ended up with both the etceter and resolute mail packages...
