When Players Die Pets die.

    I have died a 4 times in the past hour or so and every time my pet has died also, Three of these time My pet was full health and he target was at less than 10 HP more than an easy target for my pet, When I got back to my pet 3 of the times the target and my pet where dead, I know the target was about to die when I died, so the Lrg Red could have easily killed it :)

    I have now lost this pet since it died close to and ahnk and the large red I had killed and the Bear Patriarch I also killed had respawned and I now could not res and release this pet.

    If had not died just because I died I could have dismissed it after I ressed, but :-(

    Please do not tell me this is a designed mechanic, if so it needs to be changed. A pet should not die just because the player dies.

    Yeah suicide with pet out and standing there and it died :-(

    This behavior is by design originally. I am forwarding this issue to the team for review, since it was implemented before we had much of the pet system fleshed out. Thank you for the report.
