Where are my pants?

I wore my Constantan Augmented Chainmail Leggings fighting liches and skeletons in Deep Ravenswood. When I went to Kingsport to sell off some stuff and to repair my weapons, I discovered that my pants were gone. I have not visited any Pvp-zones or flagged Pvp.

Went straight to Deep Ravenswood.
From there, straight to Kingsport after the show.
- Sold off stuff to Harry the merchant to the right after the bridge.
- Went to a crafting table to repair my weapons.
- Opened up the paperdoll with "C" and discovered that my pants were gone.

My first thought was that i mistakenly sold off the pants to Harry but how is that possible without opening the paperdoll?

Due to the fact that my Viking cloak covers the avatar's legs I don't know exactly when the pants disappeared.
