Where did your Large Pristine .x. Head drop?

    Killing large polar bears and large Arctic wolfes since 2 days in Sanctus Spine, but no drops of large Pristine heads to craft the trophy.
    Curious about where you got the drops from?!

    I think they lowered the drop rate. I have also noticed that they haven't been dropping much at all.

    I'd be inclined to report it as a bug, and see if they respond with "as intended" or "will pass this on to Chris".... ;)

    In fact, I might just do that for the drop rate of Obsidian Stag Carcass's, come to think of it.

    I think I have some of those on my vendor; totally understand if you want to capture them yourself though ;). There's still a few types I haven't ever gotten to drop (huge crocs I'm looking at you :mad:).

    Hehe, yes I got the Croc Mounted already , but was the first and only one i was after until.
    Now i try to find the Polar Bear, but there are many "projects" ;)

    I had to grind like hell in Vertas Pass to get my polar bear heads. But that was before the drop nerf so it probably sucks even more now. :rolleyes:

    Get the pattern from a npc pet merchant. Collect items needed. Make on tanning station.

    Yeah the last three releases I have noticed a huge drop in pristine head drops. And now they have added more trophies into the mix it has probably been intentional....but yikes. Kill 30 of said critter and not one pristine drop. Ridiculous. Only good thing about the hunting for the heads is getting the resources from the crittters and the xp pool gains. LOL As for the obsidian carcass drops yeah the rate on those drops is low now as well. Either that or my random dice roll on field dressing sucks. LOL

    I killed ~200 polar bears and some more arctic wolves.
    Got 2 Pristine Arctic Wolf Heads, but no Pristine Polar Bear Head until :(
