Why are Corpion creatures dropping Animal hides?

    For what ever reason (?) when skinning killed corpions, they can have Animal Hides in the loot table for them. These creatures are neither animals and have a carapace for a body (like spiders). Is that actually intended or possibly a bug? Spiders (like the other insectoid like creatures in New Brittania) do not drop Animal Hides.

    Spiders and Scorpions are both Arachnida, so are close relatives. Both are not insects as those have 6 legs as the name implies. Araneas (spiders) have 8 legs.

    Having said that: Corpions are so large compared to real-world scorpions that they eat animals. The animal hides are harvested from the prey in their stomach just like they cut open the shark in Jaws!

    Except sharks tend to eat their prey whole or nearly whole. Scorpions "nibble" their meals.

    Hmmm ... maybe they could instead drop a huge number of beetle carapaces? Call them "Corpion Carpace" and are usable wherever Beetle Carapaces are.

    Beetle Carapace used to be called Spider Carapace a long time ago but you didn't get it from spiders, only cotton bushes.
