This makes no sense. Are the ones I find in my rewards not pledge item replacements?

And why do we have so many of them? I got 10 of each.

Have you seen the size of that library? There are actually not enough bookshelves.

Good question. This needs to be changed... now.

Love the size of the place... I still don't think it is quite sufficient for what it replaces, but after seeing it in "action", only just. It makes it less so if the bookshelves are not trade-able.

It makes sense to me... The Dev's had a choice of building the Library with shelves built in all around like the one in Artifice, or leave it to the players to decorate as we decide... and they opted to let us do it. Thus they needed to give us the tools to do it with, or there'd be screams of having to buy that many from the COTO Store.

Yes - some (many?) will opt to use decorations other than bookshelves. If they were able to be traded and sold, then there would be an instantly flooded market for them effectively killing an add-on store item for potentially years to come and harming Port's income - which is needed for development, etc.

The library's adequacy as a replacement and the bookshelve's no-trade status are seperate issues from "why do we have so many of them?".
