Why is there an auto-stack option?

    It hasn't worked for the last couple releases, so why is it even there?

    The auto-stacking bug is especially irksome when storing resources in the bank, because each "pile" of a resource takes up a separate bank slot. So even if you only use the same local bank, if you stored maple wood on 100 different occasions, that takes up 100 bank slots. So it is necessary to constantly manually stack items to make room in the bank.
