Windmill Village Home Question

I recently placed the windmill home on my village lot. Every video I've seen of this home shows the windmill blades on the front of the house (over the front door). When I placed mine on my lot, however, the blades are on the back of the house. Having the blades kind of hidden like that when you approach the lot loses some of the home's appeal.

Is there a way to rotate the blades around to the front of the house? Is there some reason why the blades are facing the way they are, rather than facing front? My lot faces South, so the blades are facing North. Does that have anything to do with it?
