Wonky camera / convo bug that clears chat tab

Details: The game couldn't kick into "conversation" mode until midway through talking to an NPC, but when it did, the chat tab cleared and only the new / latest dialog response is shown. The main tab still shows the entire convo history though.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Stand fairly close to Timothy, the Student of Love (Ardoris) as shown in the /loc
2. Double click on him to initiate conversation mode
3. Your character will move for some reason but twitch / not be able to enter conversation mode
4. Despite this, you can still talk to Timothy
5. Eventually, somehow, the conversation mode kicks in, but in doing so, the chat tab is cleared and you only see Timothy's latest response.
